CS Santosh Leads the Way in The Wings For Life World Run

The Wings For Life World Run event was held at Ahmedabad on Sunday. It is a unique run which takes place simultaneously across 34 different locations globally.

India’s foremost off-road rally racer – CS Santosh and Indian Motorsport Racer – Aditya Patel were the drivers of the catcher car.

This run has no finish line instead there was a catcher car which chased the runners. And the runners kept getting eliminated once the car passed them.

There were 1263 runners in the event, which included badminton player – Ashwini Ponnappa, Indian Goalkeeper – Subrata Paul and Local TV Actress – Aashka Goradia.

All the proceeds from the event will be transferred to the Wings for Life Foundation, which is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injury.

Wings for Life is a non-profit research foundation set up in 2004 by Dietrich Mateschitz and the two-time motocross champion  Heinz Kinigadner. With a specific end goal to understand its vision, Wings for Life backings and funds world-class exploratory examination and clinical trials over the world went for recuperating the harmed spinal string. In addition, it additionally encourages the sharing of experimental information.
